In upgrading this blog, I seem to have completely lost all of my old Haloscan comments. This may be the last post I make here, because I am just that irritated.
UPDATE: I've turned on the Blogger comments, and am getting slowly seduced by the improved functionality of the new stuff. But if I'd known this would wipe out all the old comments, I would have relaunched this as a new blog...

The Haloscan comments are still out there, but you'd have to muck around with the HTML template to display them again. When I switched to Blogger comments a year or two ago I just left my Haloscan ones behind.
What good would come from launching a new blog? You'd lose the old comments anyway.
Not if I'd left the old comments hanging out at the new blog! And, as I said, it's much easier to muck about with the template, add and remove links to other blogs, etc. now.
